Our pricing structure for land clearing, tree clearing, forestry mulching, and pond construction services are as follows: We offer land-clearing at $300.00 per hour per machine with a 3 hour minimum. In addition to land clearing, we offer tree clearing services at the following price ranges, based on the diameter of the tree: - Small trees (up to 12 inches in diameter): $150 - $500 per tree - Medium trees (12 to 24 inches in diameter): $500 - $1,500 per tree - Large trees (24 to 36 inches in diameter): $1,500 - $3,000 per tree - Extra-large trees (over 36 inches in diameter): $3,000 and up per tree Our standard pricing for Forestry Mulching is set at $250.00 per hour, with a minimum requirement of 3 hours. We have implemented this minimum requirement to ensure that all projects, regardless of size, receive the attention and care they deserve. In cases where a property is densely overgrown, a specialized pricing of $300.00 per hour, per machine utilized, will apply. This pricing reflects the additional time, effort, and resources required to clear and maintain areas with thick vegetation. Now, let's talk about the construction of a pond. We offer comprehensive pond construction services with the following pricing structure: 1. Pond Construction (.5 acre): - Base price: $13,000.00 We understand that the base price of $13,000.00 for a half-acre pond construction may initially seem higher than expected. However, it is important to consider the extensive overhead costs and meticulous preparation involved before we can begin the actual digging process. Constructing a pond requires careful planning and comprehensive site preparation to ensure a successful and long-lasting result. Prior to excavation, our team invests significant time and resources in activities such as possible land surveying, possibly obtaining necessary permits, clearing vegetation, leveling the area, and priming the site for excavation. These preparatory steps are essential to create a solid foundation for the pond and ensure optimal water retention and drainage. By factoring in the overhead costs and the thorough preparation we undertake, our pricing reflects the high level of expertise, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship that we bring to each pond construction project. For projects located within a 25-mile radius of our home office in Evergreen, Alabama, no additional destination fees apply. We consider this region as our local service area, and we're delighted to provide our services without any extra charges. However, if your project is located outside this 25-mile radius, we kindly request a destination fee. This fee helps us cover the additional costs associated with traveling to your site and ensures that we can efficiently deliver our services to you, no matter where you're located within Alabama. We value transparency and open communication, so please feel free to reach out to us for further details about the destination fee and how it applies to your specific project. How We Calculate The Destination Fee Calculating the cost per mile involves dividing the price of fuel per gallon by the vehicle's fuel efficiency in miles per gallon. This formula helps us understand the expenses incurred when moving our equipment along the highways to reach your location. To provide you with a clear understanding of our pricing structure, we use the following formula for the Destination Fee: Destination Fee = (Cost Per Mile) x (Number Of Miles) + $125.00 (Outside of Local Service Area Fee) By utilizing this formula, we accurately calculate the cost of safely and efficiently transporting our team and equipment to your property. The cost per mile accounts for fuel expenses, while the number of miles represents the distance to your location. In addition, we include a nominal Outside Of Local Service Area Fee of $125.00 for projects located outside of our home office zone of Evergreen, Alabama. We are committed to transparency and believe in keeping our customers informed about the factors involved in providing you with exceptional service.

On-Site Consultation: To ensure we have all the necessary details to provide the best service for your project, an On-Site Consultation is required. This initial meeting allows us to assess your project requirements, discuss the best approach, and address any specific considerations. Secure Your Desired Start Date: Once you've had your On-Site Consultation and are ready to move forward, it's time to secure your preferred start date. We understand that timing is essential, so we have made it easy for you to choose a date for your project to begin. We recommend securing your preferred timeline in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly. 3. Initiation of Work: On the day of initiation, an Initiation of Work Agreement will be signed by both the client and Etheridge Dirtworks & Land-Prep. This agreement outlines the scope of work and sets the foundation for a successful collaboration. We kindly request that all outstanding invoices and fees accrued up to the point of project initiation be paid at this time. This payment ensures that the project remains financially self-sufficient, allowing us to allocate the necessary funds and resources to deliver exceptional results. Please note that the project may be temporarily halted if outstanding balances are not paid, as it is essential for each project to pay for itself. 4. Additional Agreements: In certain cases, additional agreements may be required. If a pond is to be built, a Survey Agreement will need to be signed by both the client and Etheridge Dirtworks & Land-Prep, Inc. Additionally, if any changes or additional work is requested during the project, an Additional Work Agreement will need to be signed. These agreements ensure that everyone is on the same page, and any modifications are properly documented. 5. Completion of Work: Finally, after all the work is completed and the client is satisfied with the results, a Completion of Work Agreement will be signed by both the client and Etheridge Dirtworks & Land-Prep. This agreement signifies the successful completion of the project and ensures that all parties are satisfied.
